Q. WHAT IS HOME STUDY?
A. Home study is a special way to learn which allows you to work in your home/workplace without attending classes.  It allows you to control your rate of progress on your time schedule.  This can be done to earn Continuing Education for your Certificate Maintenance.

Q. SPECIFICALLY, WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO? 
A. You select the course offering which meets your professional needs.  Materials, including the Textbook, Multiple Choice Test and Course Evaluation Form, are sent to you to complete.

Q. HOW MANY QUESTIONS ARE THERE, AND DO I HAVE TO ANSWER ALL CORRECTLY?
A. The number of questions on course tests may vary, depending on the number of hours awarded.  All answers are found in the Textbook, and you must answer 75% correctly to earn credit.

Q. WHY IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN THE AMOUNT OF CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS WHICH CAN BE EARNED FOR SOME OFFERINGS?
A. The certifying agencies determine the number of continuing education credits/hours which can be awarded.

Q. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HOME STUDY?
A. Certificate Maintenance is quick, easy and inexpensive.  There are no travel, food or hotel expenses to pay.  You select your time frame for study, and you save valuable time too spend with your family or on productive work.

Q. WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE AMERICAN SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION (ASA) FOR CERTIFICATION MAINTENANCE?
A. ASA has provided quality counseling and testing since 1914.  It is a proven system that will meet your continuing education needs effectively and efficiently.  Your certificate(s) and test results are ordinarily mailed to you within 24 hours.

Q. HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE HOME STUDY COURSES?
A. Except as otherwise noted, courses are pre-approved through 12-31-2017, for CCM, CDMS, CVE, and CRC.
A. Clock hours and contact hours are the same and agencies approving our programs use these designations for hours of credit earned.

Q. HOW DO I GET STARTED?
A. Complete the Registration Form on this brochure, and mail it to ASA along with a check or money order.  Or, call or fax to place your order, using Visa/Mastercard/Discover.  The Textbook, Test, Answer Sheet and the Evaluation Form, ordinarily, will be mailed to you within 24 hours, by Priority Mail.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING/DELIVERY POLICY?
A. We ordinarily ship orders within two days of receiving a purchase and use the USPS, Priority Mail. Upon request, for an additional shipping charge, we will use FEDEX for expedited delivery.

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR REFUND, RETURN AND SECURITY POLICIES?
A. We respect and are committed to your privacy. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone. Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commercial standards. All personal information, including credit card information, name and address are encrypted so that it cannot be read over the internet. To cancel your registration and request a refund, all course materials must be returned in unused condition within ten (10) days of receipt of your order. Upon receipt of your request and the returned unused course materials, your refund will be sent immediately.
